Yellow Pearshaped has a fairly high yield and can be grown both for open field cultivation and in the greenhouse.

Sowing and cultivation method Yellow Pearshaped tomato seeds

Pre-sow from the end of February to March in a seed tray at 20°C, or later outdoors under glass. As soon as the first leaf appears, transplant in a greenhouse or plant out in pots.

Yellow Pearshaped can also be planted out in the open at the beginning of May, provided that it is placed in a sheltered, sunny position.

Planting distance 80 x 40 cm.

Support the tomato plants with a stick. When there are 3 to 4 flower clusters, break out the top of the plant. Always remove side shoots that emerge from the leaf axils at a young stage (so-called thieves).

Yellow cherry tomatoes are harvested from mid-August to September.
