The outer ring of the Halo has a water reservoir with a capacity of more than 3 liters, which leaks out completely in 3-6 hours. This gives the plant much longer to absorb the water and any additional nutrients. The same raised outer ring also protects the young plants against weather influences and vermin.

The Plant Halo can be placed directly in the ground, but also easily in grow bags, pots or even directly in 40 liter potting soil bags.

The outer ring of the Halo has a diameter of 29cm and serves as a water reservoir. With a capacity of more than 3 liters, the water tank leaks completely in 3-6 hours. This gives the plant much longer to absorb the water and any added nutrients. The same raised outer ring also protects the young plants against weather influences and vermin.

If desired, tall crops can be supported by inserting 3 bamboo sticks into the special recesses. A connecting piece for the bamboo sticks is included.

Water system

The outer ring contains 6 sprinklers which penetrate about 3cm into the soil, this way the water reaches the roots directly. Because this happens over a much longer period, the plant is better able to absorb the moisture, and ultimately also reduces your water consumption. Depending on the soil conditions, it takes an average of 3-6 hours for the water tank to completely drain.

The first 2-3 weeks after planting, also water the soil near the plant itself, so that the roots can develop well in the direction of the water nozzles.

Bamboo pole support

Plant Halos also have a unique bamboo or tonkin support system. In the inner ring are 3 recesses into which you can insert bamboo poles for support of the plant and improved wind resistance. With the supplied plastic connector you can attach the 3 bamboo sticks and possibly 1 stick in the middle at the top.
