How and when to plant dahlia tubers?

Dahlia tubers are sensitive to frost, so do not plant dahlia tubers until the chance of frost has passed.

Plant the dahlia tubers in a sunny spot about 5 centimeters deep with the tip pointing up. Water the dahlias well after planting and keep the soil regularly moist. Give plenty of water, especially during the flowering period.

By planting dahlias close together you create a beautiful field of flowers.
