Basil grows in a sunny and sheltered place in well-drained soil. Easy to sow directly in the garden, but also in pots or planters on the balcony, terrace or in a sunny place indoors.

Medicinal: Among other things, against mild fever, nausea, poor digestion and skin infections. Tea can be made from the leaf with a calming and antispasmodic effect.
Storage: Dry the leaves in a cool, dark place.
