How do you grow asparagus?
1st year: Sow the asparagus seeds from March-May in the open ground in a seed bed, line spacing 20 cm, cover with old natural fertilizer in the fall.
2nd year: Harvest the young “balls” and plant them out at 30x30cm in the final location from March to mid-May at the latest. Provide fertile soil and only start harvesting from the 4th year, when the plants are big enough to enjoy for years to come.
