Cultivation method of Soltastic F1 Potato seed

Sowing: Sow the Soltastic F1 potato seeds from February to May in a seed tray or pots at a temperature of 16 to 20°C, especially the first days after sowing, it is very important to keep them temperature.

From mid-May, the potato plants can be planted out after the seedlings have been hardened off. Planting must be done before tubers start to form and can be done in the open ground, but this is also possible in pots or potato bags.

It is best to grow on half ridges or beds and fill up during the growing season. Plant distance 20 cm, between the ridges 60 cm.

Harvesting: Harvesting Soltastic F1 potatoes: The potatoes can be harvested 100 to 120 days after planting the seedlings. For the largest possible harvest, wait until the plants start to discolor and die. The harvest itself is exactly the same as the cultivation with seed potatoes. It is easiest to do this with a fork to harvest the potatoes clean and undamaged.
