Sowing

Sow North Holland brown standard beans directly in the field from the beginning of May. Sow in lines or rows that are 40 cm apart. Place the beans in the row 15 cm apart and 3 cm deep. Make sure that the soil remains sufficiently moist during growth.

Harvest

Harvest the entire crop as soon as the pods turn yellow and place upside down in a dry spot in the wind. Let it dry thoroughly. After this, the North Holland brown beans can be removed from the pods. The North Holland brown beans have an almost unlimited shelf life.
