How do you sow Pumpkins?

Sow pumpkin seed on the firm, moist soil layer. This is usually located at a depth of 3-5 cm. For optimal germination, it is important that the soil at sowing depth has a temperature of at least 18°C at the time of sowing and the following week. For best storability, it is advisable to harvest the fruits as soon as possible after the first signs of ripening to avoid possible sunburn damage. After harvesting, the fruits are best stored at a temperature between 8°C and 12°C. It is important to continue to ventilate the pumpkins well during storage.
