Sowing: Sow the Mertina F1 chilli pepper seeds indoors from February to April. Use sowing and cutting soil and keep the temperature between 25-28°C. Once the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots. Let them grow in a light spot, such as a windowsill or in a greenhouse. From May onwards, the plants can be placed outside, provided there is no more night frost.
Harvesting: The chillies are ready to harvest when they are fully red, usually between July and October. Pick regularly to encourage new growth. Use the chillies immediately, dry them for later use or process them into spicy spice mixes.
