Sowing and cultivation method Rhubarb Chard red chard seeds

Sow on site from mid-March to late July in rows 30 cm apart. Thin out to 20 cm if necessary.

When only the young leaves are cut, the seed can be sown more densely. The young leaves can be harvested several times in the summer from the same Swiss chard plants.

When growing to harvest the leaf ribs, keep a distance of 40 x 30 cm.

Harvest

You can harvest from July to October.
