With greenhouse cultivation, you can sow beets very well in February and March.
Sowing: from April to July. For storage, the second half of May is the best sowing period. Sow at 30 cm between rows, thin out later at 7 to 10 cm, do not transplant.
Harvest: With early sowing from mid-July to late September. For storage, pull the beetroots up in late autumn – until about mid-November – before the frost. Remove the foliage and bury them in sand in a frost-free place.
