Sowing
Sow the Brussels sprouts seeds from begin april to early mei, under glass or directly in the open ground on a seedbed. Plant out in the period May to end-June at spacings of 70x40cm.
Never transplant Brussels sprouts into freshly fertilized or very humus-rich soil, as this strengthens growth. Too much growth can cause loose, open sprouts. Brussels sprouts must be able to grow slowly to ensure the best quality. Make sure that the soil always remains sufficiently moist. Suitable for any type of soil.
Harvesting
The tasty syringes can be harvested from November to end februari. The Brussels sprouts taste best when they have been covered by frost.
