Do not sow cylindra beetroot seeds too early. For best results, sow between April and July with a planting distance of 20x8 cm.

With greenhouse cultivation, you can already sow beets very well in February and March.

Sowing time April to July; for storage, the second half of May is the best sowing period. Distance between rows 20 cm, thin out later at 8 cm, do not transplant. Storage is possible: pull up the beets in the autumn before frost, twist off the foliage and ensile in sand in a frost-free place.
