Kitchen use: The leaf is used in salads, tomato dishes, pasta sauces and soups and in combination with garlic.
Medicinal: Among other things, against mild fever, nausea, poor digestion and skin infections. Tea can be made from the leaf with a calming and antispasmodic effect.
Storage: Dry the leaves in a cool, dark place.
