Leonardo Radicchio seeds
Cichorium intybus Red chicory Leonardo is a Chioggia type.
Red chicory or Radicchio produces red, round heads of crunchy leaves. The taste is slightly bitter. Due to the slightly open crop structure, it is less blemished and sensitive to bad weather. The white veins and red leaves contrast nicely and are very suitable for mixed salads.
- Beautiful heads with crunchy leaves
- Very productive variety
- Slightly bitter taste
- Less sensitive to blemishes in bad weather
- Strong against brown edge (discoloration during storage)
