One bag of squash seeds is enough for approximately 8m2, the planting distance is 140x60 cm.

How do you grow squash?

Sow the squash seeds in May, forcing warm under glass, preferably in sunny weather; or sow on site/plant in June in sun-warmed soil at >20 degrees Celsius. Do not over-wet during germination. Harvest the butternut squash before frost when the foliage has withered. Store in a dry place at 10-15ºC.
