How to grow lentil sprouts
Microgreens can be sown indoors all year round. Sow a thin layer of seeds on a sprouting tray or moist cotton wool. Rinse the seeds gently and place the tray in a bright spot at room temperature (around 20–22°C). Keep the growing medium moist by adding or replacing water daily.
Rinsing
Rinse thoroughly two to three times per day to keep the sprouts fresh and clean. In warm weather, rinse more frequently. Proper rinsing is key to a successful harvest. Be sure to drain off any excess water thoroughly.
Storage
After harvesting, sprouts can be kept in a sealed container in the fridge for several days. Letting them grow a few extra days will give you more leafy development.
