How to grow mustard cress
Microgreens can be sown indoors all year round. Sow a thin layer of seeds on a sprouting tray or moist cotton wool. Rinse the seeds gently and place the tray in a bright spot at room temperature (around 20–22°C). Keep the growing medium moist by adding or replacing water daily.
Rinsing
Rinse thoroughly two to three times a day to keep the sprouts clean and fresh. In warm weather, rinse more frequently. Proper rinsing is essential for a healthy end result. Be sure to drain off any excess water thoroughly.
Storage
After harvesting, the sprouts can be stored in a closed container in the refrigerator for a few days. Letting the sprouts grow a little longer will produce more leaf development.
