Organic Mesclun Pure Lettuce is a colorful salad mix of the varieties 'Red Salad Bowl', 'Suzan', 'Wonder der vier Jaargetijden' and 'Little Leprechaun'. This mix can be grown as a baby leaf from spring until well into late summer.

All types of Mesclun Pure Lettuce have a soft taste. Harvest young, when the plants are about 10 cm high. When you cut the young plants above the growing point, you can harvest them up to three times.

How do you grow Mesclun lettuce?

Sowing:
Sowing the Mesclun Pure Lettuce from March to August in the open ground. Leave 15 cm between rows. Sow at 1 cm in the row and later thin out at 2-3 cm. You also get a nice dense crop that is easy to cut into bundles by mixing the seeds with some sand or sugar and sowing in a row. Then you don't have to thin out.

Harvest:
After about 3 to 4 weeks after sowing the lettuce seeds.

TIP: very suitable as a baby leaf (sowing period: April-July)!
