The melons, which weigh about 1 kg and are about 50 cm in circumference, have a light green, partly meshed skin with dark green stripes, taste extremely sweet and aromatic and are a must for every melon lover!
In addition, Anasta is very resistant to cracking and has a long shelf life after harvest. The Anasta variety has a natural resistance to powdery mildew and Fusarium wilt.
- Extremely sweet
- Fruit weight up to 1 kg
- approx. 50cm large melons
- Long shelf life
- Resistant to powdery mildew and Fusarium wilt
When ripe, the fruits smell fragrant and thus indicate the time of harvest, which usually falls in the months of August, September and October.

Sowing
Sow the melon seeds indoors in a warm place in March to May. After pre-cultivation, the young plants can be transplanted in May, as soon as there is no more frost, at a planting distance of 150x100cm. The early start of the season is crucial for the success of the harvest, because melons in this country need to be grown early.
Harvesting
When ripe, the fruits smell fragrant and thus indicate the time of harvest, which usually falls in the months of August, September and October.
