Sowing
Sow the lupine seeds from April in pots or directly on site, cover approx. 1 cm with soil, press down and keep moist. To accelerate germination, roughen the seed with sandpaper and soak in water for 1 day. Lupine likes permeable, sandy, even acidic soil in a sunny to partially shady location.
Flowering period
The Lupine blooms from May to July. Cut when the first individual flowers show color, if you want to put them in a vase. Pruning immediately after flowering promotes a second flowering in the same year.
