Dahlia tubers are sensitive to frost, so only plant dahlia tubers once the risk of frost has passed from March to May.
Plant the dahlia tubers in a sunny spot about 5-10 centimetres deep with the point facing upwards. Water the dahlias well after planting and keep the soil moist regularly. Provide sufficient water, especially during the flowering period.
By planting dahlias close together, you create a beautiful field of flowers.
Dahlias are summer bloomers and bloom from July to October.
