Hilde II lettuce - Tender spring and summer lettuce

Hilde II lettuce is a tasty lettuce variety that forms firm heads with deliciously tender leaves. Ideal for spring and summer cultivation, both under glass and directly in the open ground. Maintain a temperature of 15-20ºC for the lettuce to germinate, as a little cold will ‘break’ the dormancy.

For under glass (February-March) or in the open ground (March-August)
Harvestable from May to October for a long lettuce period
Firm heads with a tender structure, ideal for fresh salads
Easy to grow, also for novice gardeners

Sowing: Sow the lettuce seeds in February-March on a seedbed under glass. Or sow directly in the open ground in rows from March-May. Ensure the soil is sufficiently moist for good growth. Provide some shade in hot weather and keep the soil slightly moist for best results.
