Sowing
Sow the Strelitzia seeds indoors all year round at a temperature of 25-28 degrees. From mid-May you can transplant the young plants into pots of at least Ø 60cm. A sunny, wind-protected location is important for successful cultivation.

Flowering period
The plant will grow considerably in the first few years, but will not yet bloom. From the 5th year onwards, the Strelitzia will only bloom in the months of May to August.
