How to grow Salad Mix sprouts
Sprouting seeds can be sown indoors all year round. Spread a thin layer of seeds on a sprouting tray or on moist cotton wool. Rinse the seeds gently and place the sprouter or dish in a bright spot at room temperature (around 20–22°C). Keep the cotton or tray moist by adding or refreshing water daily.
Rinsing
Rinse the seeds two to three times a day to keep the sprouts clean and fresh. In warm weather, rinse more frequently. Make sure excess water can drain well to prevent mold formation.
Storage
After harvesting, the sprouts can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days in a sealed container. Add them to your dish just before serving for maximum freshness and flavor.
