How do you grow onions?

Sow the onion seeds directly in March to the beginning of April at a row distance of 25 cm, thin out at 5 to 10 cm. Sowing later gives a better chance of onions with thickened stems. The onions can be harvested from September to October. Allow to dry thoroughly after harvest.
