How do you grow lettuce?

All lettuce varieties are easy to grow. Lettuce has a short growing time (6 to 8 weeks) and it is therefore important to transplant / transplant the plants at a young stage. Lettuce is especially tasty when you don't fertilize too much. If you want to eat lettuce every week, sowing/planting must be done regularly. The first sowing under glass can already take place in March, in the open ground from April.

So they have a long harvest time. Due to the low cropping plant type, natural enemies, such as parasitic wasps and ladybugs, are better able to attack the aphids. Harvest the young leaves by picking regularly or harvesting as a crop.

TIP: also suitable as a baby leaf (sowing period: May-August)!
