Sow lavender seeds indoors from March to May in a seed tray, or later from April to June directly in the garden.
Lavender is an irregular germinator, so it may take some time for enough seeds to germinate. To promote germination, pre-sowing in a propagator is highly recommended, place the propagator in a warm and light spot.
Plant the seedlings after about 8 weeks in a sunny spot with a distance of at least 5cm from each other.
Lavender flowers the second year after sowing from late July to August.
Lavender can be harvested from March to October. The easiest way is to use harvesting scissors for this.
