Gladiolus tubers are sensitive to frost, so do not plant gladiolus tubers until the chance of (night) frost has passed.

Plant the gladiolus tubers in a sunny spot about 8 centimeters deep with the tip upwards. Water the gladiolus well after planting and keep the soil regularly moist. Give plenty of water, especially during the flowering period.

Preferably plant gladioli in groups in a sheltered place so that the tall stems do not blow over.
