How do you sow Gherkin Profi F1 seeds?

Sowing: Sow the organic gherkin seeds indoors from April in 8cm pots. When it is warm enough, you can sow from the end of May in a greenhouse or outside in the open ground.
Planting out: The gherkin plants can be planted outside from mid-May (Ice Saints). Gherkins should be out of the wind, preferably put them in a sheltered spot. Plant two gherkin plants together every 50 cm. The tendrils can be led back or pruned to keep the crop in check. Gherkins grow best with some support, use a piece of chicken wire or lead them up along strings.

When do you harvest Gherkins Profi F1?

Gherkins can be harvested from mid-July to mid-September. One plant produces many fruits, up to 20 pieces. The pickle yield in the greenhouse is higher than the outdoor cultivation. When the gherkins have reached a nice size, you can pick them. Picking will then develop new fruits.
