The flower mixture reaches a height of approximately 1 meter, the Cosmea playfully rises above this in the autumn. Due to the successive flowering periods, the flowering plants contribute to a rich insect life for months.

Sowing instructions Elegance flower mixture

Sow the organic Elegance flower mixture from the 2nd half of April-end of May.

With flower mixtures it is important to prepare the soil well. Make sure the soil is flat, raked loosely and free of weeds. A flower mixture cannot be sown through existing vegetation or lawn.

Sow the flower mixture superficially broadly or shallowly in rows. When sowing in rows, it is easier to do some hoeing now and then. Another advantage of sowing in rows is that all plants get enough light and are less in competition with each other.

After sowing, press the soil down with a small plank so that the seeds make good contact with the soil. Carefully spray the sown flower mixture there and keep slightly moist until the seeds germinate.

Protect the sown area with a net so that birds do not pick up the seeds.

After about four weeks, it is wise to remove coarse weeds between the rows. This is possible as long as you can still walk well between the rows.
