Sow the organic endive seeds outdoors in June-July in a seedbed or in rows. Plant out or thin out after 3-4 weeks. Endive is sensitive to cold and 'shoots' quickly, so wait a while before sowing when it is still cold at night (< 10°C). The planting distance should be about 30x30 cm; closer planting does not give a higher yield and the risk of contamination is greater.
Harvest the Yellow Fullheart endive in October-November. When severe frost is forecast, harvest the plants and store frost-free.
