How do you sow Garlic Chives?

Sow the organic Garlic Chives seeds directly in the field from March to August. Since chive seeds germinate best in the colder days, it is best to sow the chive seeds in early spring. You can also sow the chive seeds in flower pots. The planting distance is 5x20cm.

When can you harvest Garlic chives?

Garlic Chives can be harvested from May to October. Harvest chives as often as you like using scissors. The first year the chive plant will not be big enough to harvest fully, the second year it has become a beautiful mature chive plant. To promote leaf growth in the second year, the flower stems should be removed. The plant dies in winter, but emerges again in spring.
