Sowing:Pre-cultivate from mid-March in pots under glass or in a cold frame or from mid-April to the end of May in a seedbed. Plant out approximately 4-6 weeks after sowing at a planting distance of 40x50cm. Growing in batches ensures a long harvest season. To protect against diseases, you should only grow cabbage varieties in the same bed every 3-4 years. A vegetable net for the pre-crop and in the bed protects against cabbage pests. Plant out in the final growing location.
Harvesting: Sprouting broccoli can be harvested from July to October. Harvesting takes place before flowering, when the stems of the cauliflower florets are long enough. The stems are harvested one by one from the stem. Leave the plants, because new florets that can be harvested keep growing from the leaf axils.
