Summer Carrot Flyaway F1 – More Resistant to Carrot Fly!

Looking for a summer carrot that is less susceptible to the annoying carrot fly?
Flyaway F1 is a hybrid variety developed by Tozer (UK), specifically aimed at resistance to carrot fly attack. Tests have shown that this carrot is significantly less susceptible – ideal for both hobby gardeners and professional growers.

Sowing
Sow Flyaway F1 carrot seeds in rows 30cm apart. After emergence, thin out to 5cm between plants. For extra protection against carrot fly, we recommend covering the young plants with insect netting. Keep the soil moist during growth for the most beautiful roots.

Please note: although Flyaway F1 is more resistant to carrot fly, complete protection is not guaranteed. However, this variety is one of the best choices if you want to be less dependent on pesticides.
