Carrot Flyaway F1 is one of the first horticultural hybrid carrot varieties with a high degree of resistance to the carrot fly. Flyaway F1 roots are much less affected by this. You therefore harvest more and nicer carrots that can be stored reasonably well.

Sowing and cultivation method Flyaway F1 summer carrot seeds

For an early root crop, sow the Flyaway / Resistafly F1 seeds under glass from January to mid-March. Sow directly outdoors in the ground from March to the end of June. Sow broadly or in rows 25 cm apart. Do not use fresh manure and apply crop rotation.

Glass cultivation
Sow directly on site under glass from January to mid-March.

From March to early June it is possible to sow outdoors in the open ground.

Widespread and on lines with 25 cm. sown space in between. Do not use fresh manure and apply crop rotation.

Harvest
Harvest carrots from August to October.
