Cultivation Method
Sowing: Sow Detroit beet seeds outdoors directly in the soil from late March to June in rows. Maintain a row spacing of 30 cm. Thin out or transplant seedlings later to a spacing of 10 cm between plants. Pre-sowing (under glass) and transplanting is also an option.

Harvesting: The beautiful red and round Detroit beets can be harvested from May to September. The beets are ready for harvest when they reach a diameter of 4-6 cm, usually after 90-110 days. For the best flavor and texture, it’s recommended to harvest during dry weather. Store harvested beets in a cool, dark place to maintain their quality for an extended period.
