Organic palm cabbage Nero di Toscana is a typical Tuscan cabbage that is grown as kale. This palm cabbage is resistant to Tuscan winters, unfortunately not to Dutch winters.

One bag of palm cabbage seeds is sufficient for approximately 30m2, the planting distance is 65x50 cm.
Sow in March before and after about 6 weeks, plant out at 65 x 50 cm. Harvest is from September to November. Rotation is very important and this variety also needs good fertilization.
Ensure good fertilization and clubfoot rotation is very important. If necessary, use fleece cloth to protect against whiteflies and caterpillars.
TIP: also suitable as a baby leaf (sowing period: April-August)!
