The botanical name of this beautiful perennial ornamental grass is Miscanthus sinensis, but also known by its synonym Eulalia japonica.

How do you sow ornamental grass?

Sow the Chinese Silver grass seeds from the end of March in a germination tray at 15-20°C or later in a seedbed outdoors. Cover lightly and do not let the soil dry out. The plant is transplanted into small pieces once the seedlings have developed sufficient roots. Then transplant them into a larger pot directly at their destination. Grasses like well-draining soil, it should not be too wet in winter.
