The special ornamental corn Glass Gem grows to a height of 150-200 cm. The approximately 15-20 cm long corn cobs are densely covered with glass pearl-like grains that glisten in all kinds of colors.
After harvest, the leaves are removed from the cob, tied and hung to dry. Block sowing is recommended for optimal fertilization. Corn likes loose, moist soil with a good nutrient supply in a sunny spot.
Tip: protect the cobs from curious birds.
