Sow lavender seeds indoors from March to May in a seed tray, or later from July to September directly in the garden.
Lavender is an irregular germinator, so it may take some time for enough seeds to germinate. To promote germination, pre-sowing in a propagator is highly recommended, place the propagator in a warm and light spot. Plant the seedlings in a sunny spot after about 8 weeks.
The lavender flowers can be harvested from June to September. The easiest way is to use harvesting scissors for this.
