Melon da Mostarda is a ancient watermelon variety with light green striated skin, a glossy shape. The pulp of these watermelons is white and contain red seeds. The white pulp of this watermelon has a non sweet taste and is suitable for the production of mustards and jams.

Average weight of each watermelon is about 7-8 kg.

Sow the organic watermelon seeds indoors from April at a temperature of 20-22 degrees. Sow the seeds in fiber pots so that they are easy to plant out and the roots are not damaged. From mid-May, the seedlings can be transplant in a greenhouse/flat container at a distance of 1.5 meters (if you let them creep) or at a distance of 50cm (if you let them climb).
