Sowing and cultivation method Rijnsburger Sowing onions

Sowing: Sow the seeds directly on site from early March to late April. It is possible to sow widely and in rows at a distance: 30 x 20 cm. thin out slightly after about 6 weeks.

Harvest: Harvesting is possible from mid-August to the end of September. Harvest the onions when the foliage is flat and then let the bulbs dry. It is also possible to harvest the onions for fresh use when the foliage is still green.
