Celery Pascal Green Volpijp is a type of celery, also known as green celery. It is a biennial, herbaceous plant with smooth, round, and full stalks. The stalks are rich in minerals and vitamins and have a distinctive, strong flavor.

Sowing
Sow under glass from February to March, or outdoors in a seedbed from mid-April. Celery seeds are small and slow to germinate, so sow them shallowly. Cover lightly with sand or vermiculite and keep the soil consistently moist.

Seeds germinate after about three weeks. Let the seedlings grow on in a light, cool spot and only transplant them when they are strong enough. From May, they can be planted outdoors for a plentiful summer harvest.

Harvesting
Harvest when the stalks are thick enough. The harvesting period runs from July to November.
