Tips for placing a birdhouse:

Hang the birdhouse in a quiet place.
In a sheltered place from the wind and rain.
Place the birdhouse not in full sun.
Preferably facing northeast
Make sure there is a direct flight path to the entrance of the birdhouse.
Try to space birdhouses at least 3 meters apart.
Make sure the birdhouse is securely fastened and is resistant to wobbling.

When is the best time to put up a birdhouse?

Preferably hang the birdhouse in the autumn or winter. Birds can get used to the birdhouse and use it as a shelter for the winter. Birds like to hide in birdhouses on cold nights and if they like it there, there is a good chance that they will breed in it. Make sure the birdhouses are cleaned well in early spring, before the breeding season starts.

Note: Birdhouses are made of MDF. Spray the birdhouse with clear coat before using it.
