Sow seeds directly at the destination, cover with soil of twice the seed thickness, press down and keep moist. Pre-cultivation from March in small pots is also possible. For successful cultivation, medium soil and a sunny to slightly shady location are advantageous.
The flowers of summer azaleas bloom from June to August.
