How to plant Gladiator ornamental onions?
When?
Plant allium bulbs from September to December tip up and roots down. Plant the Gladiator allium bulbs about 20 cm deep and 30 cm apart.
Location?
Ornamental onions require well-drained soil. If the soil in your garden is heavy clay, mix in some sharp sand or peat to improve drainage.
When do ornamental onion alliums bloom?
Alliums bloom from May to June.
