Empty 1 sachet on the bottom of the sprouter. Rinse the seeds carefully with tap water. Pour off the water afterwards. Use the lid for this. Place the lid on the sprouter. The sprouter should be placed in bright daylight for 2 hours per day with the rest of its time in darkness. Mist spray daily with a plant sprayer. After 5 days you can eat the sprouts (having a length of 3-5 cm). Leaving for a few additional days will give you leaves on the sprout. You can keep the sprout in a fridge for approximately one week, without losing their healthy properties. Mung Beans are one of the best known sprouters and are commonly used in the Asian kitchen (eg. In spring rolls) and are full of vitamins. The sprouts are crispy, fresh to the taste and are indispensable in stir fried dishes. Uncooked they are used in salads and soups.
