How automatic watering works

This self-watering grow kit has an internal water reservoir. A raised platform on legs is placed in the water reservoir, which in turn is covered with a water-absorbing capillary mat. The seeds and plants then naturally extract the water from the water-absorbing capillary mats. Each cell automatically receives the desired amount of water and is never too wet or too dry.
