Cultivation method Red Ninja spring onions?

Sow Red Ninja spring onions seeds from March to May directly in the garden in rows spaced approximately 15cm apart. Thin out slightly after about 6 weeks, as the spring onions develop quite a lot of branches and leaves.

Choose a sunny and warm location where the soil does not get too wet. Keep the soil sufficiently moist during cultivation.

Using crop rotation with spring onions?

Spring onions belong to the garlic family, so keep a crop rotation to prevent diseases and pests caused by nematodes and fungi. Plant onion-like only once every 5-6 years on the same plot. Remember that garlic, leeks, shallots, welsh onions and leeks are also onion-like.
